When I get the mouseDown event I translate it into screen coordinates as follows:

point = self.view.translatePoint(event.locationInWindow(), False)

My question is for mouseDragged. How should I scale/translate the deltaX and deltaY of the event?

This should do it:

NSSize delta = NSMakeSize([theEvent deltaX], [theEvent deltaY] * -1.0);
delta = [self convertSize:delta fromView:nil];

-jcr

Seems to work but the delta x and y are always positive regardless of their original sign.
