the basic question I need answered is how do i implement open ended
arrays? that is an array that does not have any upper limits, more
items can be added as time goes on.
This isn't a Cocoa question is it? In Cocoa you'd use a NSMutableArray
- but that's not going to do your homework for you.
ok, a simple yes or no should suffice... can i use cocoa as a command-line tool? if i can, i'll start looking and experimenting.
In C you need to implement a growable array yourself - check out
realloc().
just did and found the man page for it. thanks
