Try Spotlighting for ".icns"; the icon you're looking for should be there. If not, you might have to download CandyBar (but I'm not completely sure).

This is also useful for when you're looking for pretty much any icon on your hard drive.

In an application folder there is a file called Icon?, The folder is now empty (void of any visible file), but when i cd into that directory in a terminal window that Icon? folder is there... I have tried opening the said file with Photoshop CS2, Fireworks MX, etc. How can I extract that stupid icon for use in my app???
