Hi all,
Does anyone have the latest on whether or not it's possible to modify
the Info.plist of a bundle at runtime?
I've sort of hit a vicious cycle trying to create a spell checker
that would
support other languages. The spellchecker should just check what
dictionaries are available
in Application Support/Myapp/Dictionaries and then register itself to
handle those languages.
This however has to be defined already in the spellchecker's
Info.plist, otherwise the choices
simply don't show up in the list of spell checkers.
Why this is so and not like the documentation says about
NSSpellServer registerLanguage:byVendor: ("Registering a language-
vendor combination causes it to appear in the Spelling Panel’s pop-up
list of spelling checkers.") is beyond me.
Many TIA,
-filipp
