If you mean the dock icon, then yes :)
One possible problem I can think of is that you can set iPhoto to
leave files you add to its library where they are. So, for some
users, the photo would not be copied out of its original location.
If however, you save it somewhere sensible to start with though,
this should work fine.
A further question.. Not really cocoa question... more like an iPhoto
question...
Can you have an album within an album?
It seems like iPhoto database isn't as hierarchical as iTunes is... I
wish it was or
I wish I knew how to make it so... Maybe I need to write a better
app for my purposes
then iPhoto. Just a thought.

Nice! :)
Thanks. :)
So if I understand this correctly, it would be like dragging and
dropping the photo on iPhoto.
cool.

If you only need a really simple adding behavior, you could save
the photo somewhere temporary (like your app support folder) and
then ask iPhoto to open it using NSWorkspace. That should do the
trick.

Hi I'd like to be able to add pictures to the iPhoto library
from inside my own cocoa/ObjectiveC or a C++ application.
Anyone know how I can do this?
Thanks.
