On the topic of dvd playback. Does anyone know how I can grab the sound stream? I've had a request to implement an equalizer in my dvd player, but I can't figure out how to get the sound stream separate of the video services. Is this something that can be one with core audio, or is there some other library I can use for this purpose? And, once I isolate the stream, are there any resources someone could point me to about applying changes to the realtime stream (more base, louder left/right channel and the like)?
