Scrolling behavior ala Preview

  • Subject: Scrolling behavior ala Preview

If you have an image showing in Preview that is smaller than the window, then the image is centered in the window. If say the image is tall and thin, then you would have a vertical scroller, but not a horizontal one. However, the image is centered in the window.

When I try to emulate this, I can use scrollToPoint to center my tall thin image. But as soon as I hit the vertical scroller, the image jumps to the left side of the window.

How would I achieve the same effect Preview does?

David
