Size of menu or menu item

  • Subject: Size of menu or menu item

I need to find the size or frame of a NSMenu I will generate as a popup context menu to determine if the menu should be placed above or below the button i associate it with (like Mail's action button where it places the menu above the button if the window is too close to the bottom of the screen). I can't figure out how to get the menu's size (or even the menu item's size to multiply by the number of items).

Any ideas? Thanks.

-Mitch
