To all Objective-C newbe's out there (like myself), I bring you a
word of caution: MAKE SURE YOUR CAPITALIZATION IS CORRECT!
I have just spent the better part of a week (working on this project
off and on) stumped as to why a method I wrote was not being called
from Applescript. The reason: a simple typo! Look at the difference
between the incorrect code and the correct code that follows:
The incorrect code first:
set phoneNumbersForName to (call method "getPhoneNumbersForID:" of
class "AB_Handler" with parameter idForName)
and now the correct code:
set phoneNumbersForName to (call method "getPhoneNumbersForID:" of
class "AB_handler" with parameter idForName)
Do you see the difference? "AB_Handler" vs. "AB_handler" took me
forever to find! lol
I feel better now.
