I've been trying to find a way to specify a persistent domain to
NSUserDefaultsController for a week now, and I haven't found a way yet. If
one could specify a persistent domain for an instance of
NSUserDefaultsController to use, that would solve your problem and mine. :)

Any Apple devs on list that worked on NSUserDefaultsController want to tell
us if there is any way to point it to another persistent domain?
