I hadn't, but now I've tried it.  The +/- buttons
still appear enabled even if canAdd or canRemove all
false, until I select something new from the popup or
click on one of the column headers in the tables.

Nothing bad happens if I click the improperly enabled
buttons.  They just appear to be ignored, which would
be correct since they weren't applicable, and should
be disabled.
