generating the event

Hi All,
In my application I want to generate the SHIFT+CONTROL+1 event but unable to
do so. Currently I'm using following approach:

NSEvent *event=[NSEvent keyEventWithType:NSKeyDown
location:NSMakePoint(0,0), modifierFlags:NSShiftKeyMask|NSControlKeyMask
timestamp:0 windowNumber: [[sender window] windowNumber] context:nil
characters:@"1" charactersIgnoringModifiers:@"!" isARepeat:NO keyCode:18]

[NSApp postEvent:event atStart:YES];

But above code is not working. Can someone please give a hint to implement
the same?

Regards,
Gurmit
