If you are using QTKit at all, you can retrieve the metadata of the
tracks. I found this artcile useful for my work.

Have a look at the 'Meeting Metadata' part.

Hi All,

I am developing and application where in I need the music file information just like when we do command+i on any finder item. I need genre, album, artist etc. My file is not in iTunes library it is in the folder. Please suggest some way by which I get these details.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Aalok
