The problem with the core data tutorials is that they all assume a knowledge
that new users of Cocoa don't yet have. Apple has recently amended the Core
data guide to include a before you start section that points you to key
value coding and key value observing; but what is really needed is a
tutorial that steps you throw building a core data app in a practical manner
and also explain KVC and any other techniques used along the way. Scott
Stevenson as usual has graciously spent his time to provided the beginning
of such a tutorial. http://cocoadevcentral.com/articles/000085.php (He uses
bindings and there is very little code, but you have to save something for
part two.)
