Please post the code you use to create this custom view. IIRC,
this is due to the frame size (or even the min/max settings) not
being set correctly or at all.

But the problem is that toolbar item is not displayed under
Default items or in allowable items list in Customize toolbar palette.
I have checked code in "- (NSArray *)toolbarAllowedItemIdentifiers:
(NSToolbar*)toolbar" and "- (NSArray *)
toolbarDefaultItemIdentifiers:(NSToolbar*)toolbar"
methods. Toolbar item identifier is clearly mentioned in these
methods. But that item could not displayed in Customize toolbar
palette.
