Martin,

What you are describing that the Finder does isn't possible. Because
the CD has already been burned the Finder can't actually modify the
names. It's more likely that it is just changing the names it
displays.

If you want to verify this you can use Terminal and ls /Volumes/Audio\ CD.

The upshot is that the paths you got originally should work fine.
