Cocoa allows you to keep a specified window visible even when the
application is hidden. I'm using this for a screen reader window, while
hiding the rest of the app's windows (by hiding the app) so they don't get
in the way of what's behind them on the screen.
But the screen reader window's tooltips don't appear, even if I turn on the
-allowsToolTipsWhenApplicationIsInactive. This seems like a little gap in
Cocoa.
Is there any way to show tooltips for a visible window in a hidden
application?
