For clarity, the above should read, "... and inserts it as a subVIEW to the table view ..." ;-)

He, he... Yes, that works too! :-D

Btw.: Something that my code sample is missing - if you're using editable controls - is maintaining the key-view loop as subviews are added / removed from the table view. It's an "exercise for the reader"... ;-)
