Binary in Sync Schema

  • Subject: Binary in Sync Schema

Hey,

I'm starting to play around with Sync Services, and I have a question about the .syncschema bundle format. The "Sync Schema" Xcode project template includes an Objective-C source file that defines a few constants, which is compiled into the bundle. What is the point of this file, seeing as these constants seem identical to those in the plists? Most of the sync examples (e.g. MediaAssets) don't even have a binary in the schema.

Also, I'm trying to get the session slides for session 122, "Add Synching to Your Application" from WWDC 2005, but I can't find them since the old WWDC site was removed in lieu of ADC on iTunes. Are the slides and videos going to be put back online again soon?
