Hey all,

I am filing this one as a bug at ADC bug reporter, but just thought this may be of some interest to some of you.

Artemiy.

---

Summary:

In Logic Express 7.1.1 (Panther / Intel) and Logic Pro 7.2.3 (Tiger / Intel), subwindows with Audio Unit plig-ins with Cocoa views cannot be brought forward completely: the Cocoa GUI is brought forward but the title/control bar of Logic remains behind certain other windows.

E.g.:
http://artemio.net/tmp/Picture1.jpg
http://artemio.net/tmp/Picture2.jpg

Steps to Reproduce:

* Open Logic with the Transformer plug-in installed.
* With any audio track, assign a plugin with Cocoa view as one of the insert effects
* With the same audio track, assign any other Logic plug-in as another insert effect
* If both plug-in windows aren't already open, double-click on their name in the channel strip in the Arrange window so that both plug-in windows are open
* Click once on the Logic plug-in window's title bar to bring that window to the front
* Drag that window so it's partially covering the Cocoa view plug-in window background
* Click on any portion of the Cocoa view plug-in background such as the logo (but not the grey header part of the window that Logic creates at the top of that window)

This can be reproduced with Cocoa view plug-ins such as Mod Vibe (demo: http://www.musicunfolding.com/downloads/ModVibe.dmg) and others from Music Unfolding, Transformer from Sinevibes (demo: http:// artemio.net/tmp/transformer/Transformer.zip).

Expected Results:

The whole plug-in subwindow, including the title bar/controls drawn by Logic and Cocoa view need to be on top of all other windows.

Actual Results:

The Cocoa view plug-in background is brought forward, but the Logic portion of the window at the top of the Cocoa view plug-in window is left on the same window layer it was at before.

Regression:

Reproduces in Logic Express 7.1.1 on Panther/ PPC and Logic Pro 7.2.3 on Tiger / Intel.
