Writing PDF with Outlines

  • Subject: Writing PDF with Outlines

Given an NSTextView I want to create PDF text with outline.

The documentation (PDF Kit Programming Guide) says: "An outline is like an interactive table of contents, showing the chapter or structure hierarchy of the document. Outlines make it easy for users to see the structure of a document and to jump to a particular location."

There is PDF Kit which has PDFOutline to display outlines from pdf, and there are the print methods in NSView to create pdf text.

But how to create pdf with outlines?

Are there any Cocoa (or Quartz or anything else) methods which can help me?

Gerriet.
