Hi all,

I am writing an app that I want to be invisible - ie, no dock item. I want it to run on startup and be configurable via the system preferences, but otherwise the user would have no reason to interact with the app. Can someone tell me how I would go about this?

I considered a menu extra, but it appears that apple recommends that we not do that. There would not be a good enough argument to make my app a menu extra so the above seems the ideal situation.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

BW,
Jamie Frater
