Good idea, Andy. I ended up using the following:

float drawerWidth = [myDrawer contentSize].width + ([[[myDrawer
contentView] window] frame].size.width - [myDrawer contentSize].width) /
2.0;

Which seems to work pretty well. Thanks for the help!
