Quartz flash screen updates

  • Subject: Quartz flash screen updates

When this is turned on in Quartz, I see yellow flashes where the screen updates.
Is there a way in my application to get at this information, ie the area of the screen that was changed?
I must assume apps like Snapz Pro and VNC get this kind of info from somewhere.
