I tried that. I created /var/root/Library/Logs and a subfolder CrashReporter in logs. Still, no crashlog. I also wonder why it would be written there. All other apps that run as root write it /Library/ Logs/CrashReporter and if I call it from command line with sudo, it also writes one there.


I still believe it has something to do with how we start the app using NSTask. But we don nothing fancy about it, we just start it in the most simple way possible and still, it does not work.
