Uniform interface to WebDAV and file system?

  • Subject: Uniform interface to WebDAV and file system?

Hi All

Without mounting a WebDAV server using mount_webdav etc. are there any Cocoa (or other system) API's that allow a uniform interface to

(1)	Writing to a WebDAV server file i.e. using PUT protocol.
(2)	Writing to a file URL i.e. local file write.
(3)	Writing to an FTP server?

Can I mount a WebDAV server in code without explicitly calling mount_webdav?

Is there a direct way of accessing a user's .Mac account public folder? i.e. an API that returns the URL for this?

Cheers, Glen Low
