Thanks I.S.!  This seems to be working well.  If I additionally need to
use NSMangedObject subclasses should their class hierarchies follow the
entity hierarchies?  ie:

NSManagedObject - AnimalManagedObject - DogManagedObject
                                      - CatManagedObject
