Report generation tools

Hi everyone,

This is my first post to the group so thanks for any help in advance.

I am a relatively new as a Mac programmer having spent many years programming in MFC C++, .NET and C#. I am working my way through various aspects of programming the Mac which I am enjoying. I have an application I will be developing which is based on a similar program I coded on the PC side. This involves management of purchase orders, invoicing and tracking of a small inventory. I have decided to use core data for the underlying data management. However, one of the aspects of this program is the generation of reports for various parts of the data ( inventory reports, price lists etc). Previously I have used Crystal Reports.

What would anyone recommend as an approach to develop dynamic reports from within an application? Are there services within Cocoa to help ( I was thinking of creating PDF's )? What about 3rd party products that provide reporting classes for the Mac?

Any help would be appreciated.

Allan
