Thanks for the link, now onto reading the huge amount of code :
( might have to hunt down for the orignal code base just so i can
build a small terminal of my own. Seems iTerm is very advanced
terminal for even what i need.
Any ideas on how to create full screen windows and such?

Hi,
This may sound like a silly request but is there any frameworks or
projects that would explain how to create a fully functional
terminal?
What i aim to do is bring a drop down terminal/console into OSX
like you have in CS/Quake, as well as create full screen terminals/
console like you have in linux
Where would be some starting points in creating a terminal to
begin with, then creating a full screen version.
