NSStream or something else?

  • Subject: NSStream or something else?

Hi,

Just a quick question: is NSStream a good solution for an app that constantly needs to check for the server status (like for example a chat program) or would I need to use something else, CFNetwork for instance or BSD sockets?

Thanks,

Jesus
