Actually it would be to design some kind of "window-sensitive" VNC server/client. Therefore I need to be able to track the window rectangles of third-party apps. Does it helps ?

Bests,

Is that possible ?

How does it work for multiple document applications ?

In the general case, I am not sure that this is possible. You may be able to get something working by using the Accessability APIs. Post what it is that you're actually trying to do (i.e. *why* you want to know the locations of other application's windows) and perhaps you'll get a more helpful response.
