 Yes. Remember the prerequisites I mentioned?
4 - Bindings (and probably the required KVC/KVO concepts).

 This means "Key Value Coding" / "Key Value Observing". Lack of
proper KVO encapsulation is most likely the cause.


I already have implemented KVC according to

@interface AppDelegate : NSObject
{
	...
	NSPredicate *filter;
}

- (void)setFilter:(NSPredicate*)filter;
- (NSPredicate*)filter;
...

IIUC this should also bring Automatic Key-Value Observing. So...
