Framework for IB Plugin and app

I've got a framework project, currently set up to create an embedded framework for an application, with a view class that I'd like to turn into an IB Plugin. Can the framework be embedded in the IB Plugin?

If so, how? Embedding it like in an app doesn't seem to work: IB doesn't seem to see the framework or its classes when I'm setting the representedObject and draggedView.

If not, do I use the source of my views to create the IB Plugin, and then just embed my regular framework, or is there a way to embed the IBPlugin's framework?
