NSToolbarItem, textured background & Tiger

  • Subject: NSToolbarItem, textured background & Tiger

Hi all,

I am using a custom panel (NSPanel in a nib file) that I add to the toolbaritem with. The window attribute of this window has the 'texture' flag set. If I hide/show my toolbar the background looks fine under Leopard but apparently the same code doesn't look nice under Tiger (10.4.11).

Is there any attribute that is required under Tiger in order to have the default background attached? Initially, the view looks correct but any kind of redrawing events causing the background to be erased with the white stripped background (even if I have a non rect button in this area that changed its status). If I resize the window this particular area gets correctly drawn.

Thanks for any help,
Peter
