Animation layer conflict w/ IKImageBrowserView

  • Subject: Animation layer conflict w/ IKImageBrowserView

Does anyone know why an IKImageBrowserView won't draw if its SUPERVIEW has a Core Animation layer? NOTHING appears in the image browser view -- not even a white background.

I'm enabling the CA layer on the superview using "setWantsLayer:YES". As soon as I remove that line, the image browser starts working correctly. I'm guessing that the IKImageBrowserView has its own animation layer that's conflicting with the super's animation layer(?)

Any ideas how to get around this conflict?
