Dear community,
I've developed a Java application using JavaMail library to get my Gmail
messages using IMAP.
I'd like to switch my code from Java to Cocoa, is there any official Apple
Cocoa API for IMAP? Are Mail API published?

Unfortunately there is no Apple provided Objective-C API for IMAP. I think most developers look at using Pantomime <http://www.collaboration-world.com/pantomime >

The message sending API we had was not very useful and has been deprecated.
