Getting the keyEquivalent as a string

Hi List,
I'll probably going to regret asking this but despite extensive
Googling and documentation reading I couldn't find out if there's a
framework function to get a NSMenuItem's keyEquivalent +
keyEquivalentModifierMask as printable text (the way it's drawn in a
menu item). Obviously assembling it myself wouldn't be a big deal but
I'm sure there's a function for that somewhere already. Is there?
