Trouble with first Cocoa lesson

I'm having trouble with my first Cocoa lesson which is at

Everything works fine until I open up Interface Builder and drag NSTextView
over to the Application window. When I try to fix the size of the window, no
matter how many times I click on NSTextView to get it to change from
ScrollView, it does not change to TextView.
I'm not sure if this is a bug but the fact that it's mentioned in the
instructions makes me wonder.
I have tried double-clicking on the NSTextView object several times to get
it to change, it always stays in Scrollview mode. Have also tried quitting
and then restarting IB, but that doesn't work either.
Has anybody else run into the same problem? How do you get it to change?
