garbage collection and WebKit plugins

When trying to view a webpage in an app using WebKit I ran into an unexpected problem viewing content that required a plugin (Flash in this case). When NOT using garbage collection the plugin displayed content as expected, but when garbage collection is activated, the plugin only appeared as a blue question mark.

Is this expected behavior?
