Several things:
1 - You'd want to discuss problems with the developer tools themselves
on the xcode-users list. This has nothing to do with Cocoa.
2 - If it is crashing, there is a bug. Best to file a bug report at
http://bugreporter.apple.com
3 - Cocoa Touch is part of the iPhone SDK, which is currently covered
by the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) you agreed to in order to
download it in the first place. Nobody on any public list can discuss
it.
4 - The iPhone SDK is still in beta ... it's not surprising there are
problems. Log the bug (as mentioned in point 2 above) so the
engineering team at Apple can fix it.
