Greetings everyone.
The space is introduced with Leopard. How amusing an invention, thanks to Apple designers.
Hmm, I want to port one of my old applications to Leopard. In order to cooperate with Space function better, I am wondering whether there exists some APIs to query the current space number or which window is positioned in which space?

Nope.

There basically are some flags that you can set on a window to make it shown in all spaces (or not), and you can use the scripting bridge to query the system preferences to get/set if Spaces is on and the number of rows and columns, and that's about it for the public API.

There are no public notifications for switching screens, nor a public API for finding out what the current screen is, manually switch screens, etc...
