Core Data does not support simultaneous access to a store.
With a bit of fussing, tweaking, brute force and tears its
working OK
for me. Knock on wood. Four machines access (only two of them heavily)
a little Thecus network disk striped for Raid 1 over gigabit
AFP. Its
quite snappy, too - nearly as fast as the internal disk.
Do not try this at home :)
There are lots of optimistic locking exceptions...
I archive the database frequently, just in case, and have added
a repair
'feature' to fix or delete the occasional orphaned object --
though I
haven't had one of those since the Christmas rush.
