Hi, all,
I am the principal Mac developer for a company preparing an unannounced port
of a Windows application to OS X, and we need help to meet an aggressive
schedule.

We are seeking to build a Tiger-compatible application with some Leopard
features (e.g., Quick Look, flow views) by wrapping a Cocoa UI around our
core C++ code base. We're hoping to find a developer willing to take on a
90-day contract to get significant features of the product implemented.
Most of the core code is compiled and running on OS X so most of the work
facing us is building a best-of-breed Mac UI and connecting it to the core
code.

We want somebody with expertise with Cocoa, Xcode, and Interface Builder who
can hit the ground running and dig right in on the implementation, with
support from our in-house developers who are familiar with the C/C++ APIs
you would need to work with. Familiarity with any of USB I/O, the Image
Capture Architecture, OS X imaging, or the new Leopard technologies would be
a plus.

We would want this contractor to be on-site in our Cambridge office at a
minimum of three or four days a week.

If you're genuinely qualified and interested in the opportunity, please drop
me a line at knowles dot doug at gmail dot com.

Doug K;
