NSPredicate exceptions with wrong level?

  • Subject: NSPredicate exceptions with wrong level?
  • From: Gerd Knops <email@hidden>

This code:

	NSPredicate *aPredicate=nil;

	@try
	{
		aPredicate=[NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@invalid"];
	}
	@catch(NSExcption *e)
	{
		NSLog(@"Handled");
	}

causes my exception handler delegate to be called with an exception with the NSHandleTopLevelExceptionMask even though it is clearly being handled. Am I missing something or is that a bug?

The @catch branch is only executed if the exception handler delegate declines to handle the exception.

Thanks

Gerd
