The MySQL C API is distributed with MySQL, so if you have downloaded the MySQL Community Server, you have
the libraries you need. You can freely call the C API from within Objective-C and there is a C++ API as well. All
the documentation for using the MySQL C API is available on MySQL's site in a variety for formats:
