How to download images for a contact in Cocoa?

I'm trying to implement code that downloads contact image from the net. I thought the following would do...

NSString* mapURL = [currentStringValue stringByReplacingPercentEscapesUsingEncoding: NSASCIIStringEncoding];
NSData* imageData = [[NSData alloc]initWithContentsOfURL:[NSURL URLWithString:mapURL]];
BOOL success = [currentPerson setImageData: imageData];

but I don't think this is right. It seems I need to initiate a download process, and need to do something with "beginLoadingImageDataForClient: ". But I can't find any good documentation on the method. can some please point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Albert
