Setting Min, MAx and range of characters for NSTextField

  • Subject: Setting Min, MAx and range of characters for NSTextField

I hope someone can help me. I need to set a Min and Max length for an NSTextField. I also need to only allow certain characters that the user can enter. How can this be accomplished? Do I have to use an NSFormatter? If so are there any examples that someone can point me to?

Thanks in advance.
