thanks I.S. sorry for my delay. actually i figured it out and sorry for lack of info earlier. i had it in a delegate method that could be called more than once. maybe it was lack of sleep? :-)

Specifically, how are you creating and showing the panel? Where is this creating/showing code located (ie, what calls it)? This is the bare minimum of what we need to know to help you.
