Thats a bummer. Are there any 3rd party implementations of the smooth scrolling feature?
For example, there's this shareware app called "Smart Scroll" (http://marcmoini.com/sx_en.html) that does a wonderful job of adding smart scroll to every app (I think its an InputManager plugin). The scrolling is about on par with the iPhone's smooth scrolling.
So there must be a way to do it manually, I just can't find any docs on it.
