If you'd like to know, then take a look at the contents of the
directory /usr/share/zoneinfo.
I can't find "US/*" names in the list supplied by [NSTimeZone
knownTimeZoneNames], or in online sources.
That's because they were taken out in Leopard. Several other
countries' were as well.
